Overkill

We wanted to go after the crunchiest Rock tone, you know back when music was fast and aggressive. Overkill has punch and bite, upper mids let you shine through the mix no matter how loud you get. The neck position is vintage voiced for smooth, creamy leads, both pickups balance each other and offer wide versatility. When you crank up the gain, we swear it feels like Lemmy is about to start singing right behind you.

    Overkill

Posted by Jeremy Herring on Dec 18th 2018

I installed the Overkill set in my Gibson SG. These pickups are exactly what I was looking for. They have awesome clarity and enough bite to really scream. I paired these pickups with Darkmoon's SG wiring harness and it gave me the sound I was hunting for. I got the black pearl finish and they look as great as they sound.

If by "overkill" you mean AMAZING...

These pickups are the voice of Marques Guitars. I installed them in a custom build and was blown away. I tested them with grunge tones while most of the patrons who played the guitar where Jazz players. Needless to say, I didn't have the guitar very long after.
If you're an expressive player who's set list covers a wide range of tones, from clean to Metal, these have got you covered. I have designated these pickups as the "voice" of my guitars.
